Business coaching for founders who are done guessing

You built something real. Now you need someone who will challenge your thinking, untangle the complexity, and help you lead with sharper instincts. That is exactly what we do at Innovative Biz Coaching.

Five questions worth sitting with

  • If your top performer left tomorrow, would the business survive the quarter?
  • Can you articulate your growth strategy in two sentences — and does your team agree on it?
  • When did you last make a decision based on data rather than instinct alone?
  • Is your current revenue model the right one for the next three years, or just the one you started with?
  • Do you spend more time working in the business than on it?

If you hesitated on more than two…

That is not a failure — it is a signal. Most founders we work with arrived at the same crossroads: the tactics that got them here will not get them there. Our coaching engagements start by mapping exactly where the gaps are, so every hour you invest with us targets the constraint that matters most right now.

How an engagement unfolds

We do not sell pre-packaged programmes. Every coaching relationship follows a living framework that adapts as your business evolves. Here is the shape of it.

Discovery deep-dive

A two-hour diagnostic session where we map your financials, team structure, market positioning, and personal leadership style. We review real numbers, not aspirations. You leave with a written assessment of the three biggest leverage points in your business — before any ongoing commitment.

Strategic blueprint

Together we build a 90-day action plan with clear owners, deadlines, and measurable outcomes. We stress-test assumptions, identify resource gaps, and set up simple dashboards so you can see progress without drowning in spreadsheets.

Fortnightly coaching cadence

Every two weeks we meet for a focused 75-minute session. Half the time is accountability review; the other half is deep work on the next strategic challenge — whether that is pricing architecture, hiring a leadership team, or entering a new market segment.

Quarterly recalibration

Every quarter we step back, reassess the landscape, and adjust the blueprint. Markets shift, people change, and opportunities appear. This is where the coaching relationship earns its keep — by keeping your strategy living rather than laminated on a wall.

What shifts look like in practice

We respect client confidentiality, so we share anonymised snapshots. These numbers come from engagements completed between 2023 and 2025.

Annual revenue (SaaS founder, Belfast)
£420k £1.1m

Achieved over 14 months by restructuring pricing tiers and adding a channel-partner programme the founder had never considered.

Owner hours per week (hospitality group)
68 hrs 41 hrs

Delegation framework and hiring of an operations manager freed the owner to focus on expansion rather than daily firefighting.

Employee retention (professional services)
62% 89%

Implemented structured one-to-ones, transparent career paths, and a profit-share scheme within six months of coaching.

Net profit margin (e-commerce brand)
7% 19%

Renegotiated supplier contracts, sunset two unprofitable product lines, and shifted ad spend to higher-converting channels.

Things people ask before signing up

How is this different from a consultant?

A consultant typically delivers a report and leaves. We stay in the room with you. Our role is to sharpen your thinking, hold you accountable, and help you build the muscle to make better decisions long after the engagement ends. We do not do the work for you — we make sure you do the right work.

What size of business do you typically work with?

Most of our clients run businesses between £300k and £10m in annual revenue, with teams of 3 to 80 people. That said, we have coached solo founders preparing for their first hire and leadership teams inside larger organisations. The common thread is ambition paired with a willingness to be challenged.

How long does a coaching engagement last?

The minimum commitment is one quarter — 90 days. Most clients stay for six to twelve months because the compounding effect of sustained coaching is where the real value lives. You are never locked in; we work on rolling quarterly agreements.

Can sessions happen remotely?

Absolutely. About half our clients are based outside Northern Ireland and we work via video call. The discovery deep-dive is ideally in person, but we have run successful engagements entirely online. What matters is consistency, not geography.

What does it cost?

Our standard fortnightly coaching retainer starts at £1,200 per month. The discovery deep-dive is free and carries no obligation. We would rather have an honest conversation about fit than publish a price list that lacks context — every business is different.

Do you work with co-founder teams?

Yes, and we encourage it. Misalignment between co-founders is one of the most common growth blockers we encounter. Joint sessions surface assumptions that individual coaching cannot reach, and we facilitate those conversations with care.
